Verseo Heated Gloves Overview

I found that these gloves should have been listed as a liner rather than an all encompassing glove because they don’t have any sort of shell or water/wind proof outer layer.

If there’s any significant amount of wind or precipitation you’ll need a proper shell over top of these to be really effective.

With that being said, they work well as a liner.

I was happy with the fit and comfort of them as well as the battery life.

I had a few complaints but nothing that made me want to return them as they worked pretty much as advertised.

Comfort + Warmth

They’re made of a micro-thin elastic material which makes for a really comfortable fit.

They fit tight to the hand which allows for really good dexterity and you can even use your touchscreen phone without taking them off.

I like the fact that they are really thin because I can comfortably drive or operate my snow blower without having to take them off to press buttons or use smaller controls.

They are made with high tech carbon fiber wires that spread the heat around to each finger as well as the thumb and the back of the palm. The nice thing about the thin wires is that you can’t feel them when wearing the gloves so they don’t affect the comfort.

As for warmth they are pretty good with the heat turned on but not great with the heat off.

Since they’re thin and have no shell for wind protection they pretty much need to be turned on otherwise your hands will get cold.

With that being said, once the heat is on you’ll have nice and toasty warm hands and you have three settings of heat to choose from.

For comfort I’m giving them a 19/20 and for warmth I’m giving them a 16/20.

Water Resistance

As you can probably guess these gloves didn’t fair well in the water resistance category.

This doesn’t come as a big surprise because they aren’t advertised as water resistant so I guess I can’t be too upset.

Basically they are advertised as a glove that is thin enough to be worn as a liner.

Since they’re made of an elastic like material the water pretty much just gets absorbed into the gloves immediately.

They won’t get ruined by the moisture but your hands won’t stay dry.

For this category I’m giving these gloves a 12/20.

Quality

You may have already read some of the reviews on Amazon but if you haven’t then you probably should.

There are a lot of people complaining about the gloves coming apart at the seams with very light use.

Most people say that the company was happy to exchange them for a new pair but it’s still a little concerning to hear that.

I inspected them thoroughly and found that the stitching doesn’t look all that durable and if you need a pair of gloves to perform a lot of labor intensive jobs then these ones probably won’t stand the test of time.

I think they’d be fine for driving, walking, shoveling snow or skiing but if you’re doing construction work or snowmobiling you’ll probably want to look for a more durable pair of gloves or else get a durable shell to wear over top of these.

For this category I’m giving them a 14/20.

Battery

I have to say that the battery of these gloves was probably the most impressive part.

They come with two rechargeable 2.7000 mAh lithium-ion batteries as a charger that can do them both at the same time.

They are advertised to get 3 hours of heat on the high setting and 6 hours of heat on the low setting.

Personally I got more than that in both cases. I was able to get 3.5 hours at high, 4.5 hours at medium and 6 hours on the low setting.

In this category I’m giving them a 19/20 since they lasted longer than some of the more expensive gloves.

Fit

These gloves actually fit just a little bit small.

If you normally wear a medium you might want to go for the large just to be safe but be aware that they are meant to fit close to the skin as well.

Have a look at our sizing guide if you’re unsure of what size to get.

Final Thoughts

These Verseo heated gloves may not be my favorite pair out there but they definitely got the job done and overall I was pretty happy with them.

If I were to give you some advice I would say that you should only buy these if you’re in need of a liner or a thin glove because they aren’t very substantial on their own.

If you’re looking for something to wear while driving or just walking then these might be a great pair for you especially given that they aren’t as expensive as most other heated gloves.

Another sweet thing about them is that they are compatible with touchscreen devices. I’ve got to the point where I pretty much won’t buy a pair of gloves that is not as I’m very attached to my phone and hate having to take them off to accept a call.

If you have any experience with these gloves please leave me a comment in the box below as I’d love to hear it.

Cheers,

Robert
