There are plenty of heated gloves reviews on this website but one of my absolute favorite brands in this industry is Gerbing.
It’s that reason alone that I’ve decided to gather a list of the top 3 Gerbing heated gloves reviews on this website.
The gloves that made the cut are as follows…….
Gerbing Core Heat S2
Gerbing Core Heat S3
Gerbing Gyde G4 Women’s Motorcycle Gloves
If you’re having a tough time deciding which gloves are right for you then you should take my Glove Selection Quiz. It’s an 8 question quiz that will help you choose the right heated gloves for your needs.
Gerbing Core Heat S2
In my complete review I rated these gloves 83/100 which is really impressive because as you know I’m very picky and critical when it comes to heated gloves.
I hold all brands to a high standard but with Gerbing’s reputation and history I think I hold them to an even higher standard than most.
Category | Score |
---|---|
Comfort | 17/20 |
Warmth | 17/20 |
Water Resistance | 18/20 |
Quality | 16/20 |
Battery | 15/20 |
Overall Score | 83/100 |
As you can see they did quite well in every category only scoring slightly lower in the Battery section.
After looking back at that review I see that I was unhappy with both the amount of time the battery lasted and the amount of time they took to charge.
That’s understandable given that they take about 6 hours to charge and nowadays most high end heated gloves can charge in under 4 hours.
In hindsight this really isn’t that big of a deal because I usually charge them when I get home for the day and I won’t be needing them again until the next day.
The only time this would really cause a problem is if you forget to plug them in when you get home and you need them charged up in a hurry.
Overall this is a great pair of gloves. Click here for my complete review.
Gerbing Heat S3
This is basically the new and updated version of the S2 gloves and they really did improve a lot on a pair of gloves that were already great.
Here’s how they rated in my complete review.
Category | Score |
---|---|
Comfort | 18/20 |
Warmth | 18/20 |
Water Resistance |
20/20 |
Quality |
19/20 |
Battery |
18/20 |
Overall Score |
88/100 |
If you compare them to the S2 gloves you’ll see that they improved in every single category.
You really can’t go wrong with these gloves as they’re basically an all round pair of gloves that you can use for any occasion.
They’re made for skiing or snow boarding but that doesn’t mean they aren’t also great for shoveling snow, walking the dog, snowmobiling, sledding, building a snowman or even as a helpful reliever of reynaud’s disease or arthritis pain.
I know a lot of my readers here at The Warmest Gloves do suffer from reynaud’s which is a disease that cause chronic cold hands and feet and it can be extremely painful.
Heated gloves can be really helpful for that and heated socks or insoles are helpful too.
I guess if you’re trying to decide between the S2 and the S3 it will probably come down to money. If you can afford a little extra you should definitely go for the S3 but you’ll still be very happy with the S2 if you go that route.
Gerbing Gyde G4
So this pair of gloves are different from the other two because they’re motorcycle specific but I had to put them on the list because they’re just that sweet.
Category | Score |
---|---|
Comfort | 20/20 |
Warmth | 19/20 |
Water Resistance | 18/20 |
Quality | 19/20 |
Safety | 18/20 |
Overall Score | 94/100 |
To get every little detail about these gloves you can head over to the full review and learn about all the ins and outs of them but for now I’ll just do the highlights.
First of all I have to talk about the look of them. I don’t usually care too much about the appearance of my gloves but when you have a pair of gloves that look this cool you can’t help but appreciate it.
They just have a style factor that stands out. I don’t know how to describe it but the designers just hit it out of the park on these ones.
Then of course there’s the comfort factor. As you can see I rated them 20/20 in the comfort category and for good reason too.
You might find that they feel a little tight at first but don’t worry about that because they’re designed to fit that way.
A lot of people try them on and think they need to go a size up but be careful with this.
These gloves will stretch out a tiny bit and when they do they’ll feel amazing. They’re suppose to hug your hand and fit nice and snug.
This makes them really comfortable and helps a lot with dexterity too but the main reason for this is safety.
So often when you see motorcycle accidents the gloves are the first things to come right off and that’s because so many people are wearing low quality gloves or gloves that are too big.
Don’t make that mistake.
Did I mention that these are a women’s glove?
