These are the top 5 best wool gloves for 2018. Why only 5 pairs? Because I only wanted to review the very best quality gloves available today.
Wool Gloves Reviews
Wool gloves have been around longer than any of us and there are a lot of good reasons why they never go out of style.
For one, it's a very durable material. It can withstand a lot of wear and tear so you won't have to be gentle with it.
It's also an extremely warm material. One of the reasons it's so warm and works so well for gloves is because it's naturally a good moisture wicking fabric.
The fact that it's a completely natural material is also a big plus for a lot of people. Sure it does come from animals but the animals don't need to be harmed or mistreated in order to get the wool from them.
So yeah, wool is pretty much a super fabric.

These Hestra Classic Wool Tricot gloves are feally fantastic gloves. I truly don't believe that you can buy a better pair of wool gloves anywhere.
I've reviewed other styles of Hestra gloves and that always impress.
The best word to use when describing these gloves is craftsmanship. Hestra is a relatively small company that only makes gloves.
It's based out of Sweden and it's still family run to this day. Each pair of Hestra gloves is hand crafted by Swedish glove makers who are truly passionate about gloves and their passion shows through in the quality of their product.
These Tricot Wool Gloves are a testament to that.
They're wool on the back and leather on the palm so you get the comfort and warmth of the wool but the grip and durability of leather on the palm.
I don't want to understate the comfort of these gloves. I'm not exactly sure how they do it but they managed to make a glove that fits every contour of the hand. Not only that but they sort of mold to your hand after you've worn them for a couple weeks so they only get better with age.
They come in both a men's and women's cut too.
These were an easy choice for my top ranked wool glove.

Ojbro is another Swedish company. Turns out the Swedes are excellent glove makers because these are yet another fabulous of wool gloves.
Unlike the Hestra gloves these ones are %100 wool so they don't have the leather palm.
Depending on your preference that can be a good or a bad thing. I believe that they both have their place.
The Ojbro gloves have a more casual look to them which makes them great for just about any outdoor activity.
WHat makes these gloves so good? Lots of things.
Mainly it's the high quality Merino wool that they use. It's soft but strong and it will keep your hands warm in some very cold conditions.
These gloves are also super comfy so you can wear them all day and you'll never want to take them off.
Great gloves.

These Dachstein Woowear gloves are just a good old fashioned pair of wool gloves.
Nothing fancy, no special features or logo, just gloves but sometimes that's exactly what people want and need.
These come in all sorts of different colors so you can pick the one that suits you best.
They look a bit odd in this photo but in real life they look normal and they fit snug and allow you to retain some pretty good dexterity.
They're warm, comfy and simple. You can't go wrong with these.

Everybody knows The North Face brand. It's a huge multinational company that makes outdoor gear and they've been around for a while.
These gloves are the thinnest pair on this list so if you want something small and low profile these are the right choice for you.
They have a little clip on the wrist to clip them together and they have touchscreen compatible finger tips.
Other than that they're pretty simple gloves but they're also the second cheapest pair on this list so if you're on a budget you'll probably like these.
Another great choice.

Timberland is a brand that I don't have a lot of experience with so I was excited to try out these gloves.
They're the cheapest pair on this list and for under $20 these are a bargain.
They have a clip on the side so you can clip them together and they have some nylon on the palm for extra grip.
The finger tips are also equipped with a touchscreen friendly material.
One downfall with these is that they are a little loose and bulky so dexterity isn't great but for the price you really can't complain.
A nice budget option.
