I finally got to test and review the Seirus Heated Ski Gloves that everybody loves so much. Here are my reviews of all 7 models of the Heattouch gloves.
So out of the 7 models of gloves Seirus currently makes, 6 of them come in both Men's and Women's.
The only pair that doesn't come in both is the Ladies Glow Glove & Mitt which does not come in a Men's version.
In this article I'll share with you my experience with each and every one of these models and I'll give them each a score out of 100.

Seirus Heated Ski Gloves Overview
I have to admit that I've been eyeing these gloves for quite some time now because I've tried non-heated Seirus gloves and I was really impressed with those.
Once I heard Seirus was going to be making heated gloves I was really excited because I knew that they would be high end gloves that could compete with some of my top rated heated gloves.
Unfortunately it's taken me a lot longer to get around to testing these gloves than I had hoped because I've just been way too busy lately.
Finally the time came and I got my hands on them.
As I said before there are 7 different models and some of them come in both a glove and a mitt so although I had my work cut out for me I loved every minute of it.
Here are the 7 models they currently make in order of price (lowest - highest)
It should also be mentioned that all of these gloves use the same battery and heating technology so there won't be any variance between the different models in terms of battery life and overall heat.
Below is a rundown of the battery life and the heat that these gloves produce.
Battery Life & Heat
The Seirus lineup of heated gloves all come with two of these 7.4V lithium-ion batteries, one for each glove.
Except for the Hellfire which I'll talk about later.

A 7.4 volt battery is the most common choice for all high end heated gloves so I wasn't surprised to see that this is what they use.
The batteries fit in a little zipper pocket on the back of the wrist and they're actually quite thin so you don't really notice them when you're wearing the gloves.
These batteries plug right into a small outlet inside the pocket and then you're ready to go.
There are three settings, Low, Medium and High.
To activate the heat you just hold down the button on the back of the hand for 5 seconds and then do the same thing to change the heat setting.
Having to hold the button down for 5 seconds is a good thing because it prevents the gloves from being turned on and off accidentally from getting bumped or hit.
I've used gloves that didn't have this 5 second rule and you'd be surprised how often they accidentally got turned off.
Here is what the Seirus website claims the battery life is;
Low Setting - Up To 6 Hours
Medium Setting - Up To 4 Hours
High Setting - Up To 2 Hours
So if you've ever read any of my other heated gloves reviews you'll know that what the companies claim the batteries get isn't always accurate and that's why I test them.
Fortunately Seirus was very accurate with these numbers.
One thing to keep in mind is the outside temperature. If it's extremely cold outside the batteries will have to work harder to maintain the heat and therefore burn out quicker.
I tested these gloves on a really cold day, it got down to -13°F which is about -25°C.
Luckily my results were pretty much spot on with what the Seirus website claims. In fact, a few days after my original test I took them out on a warmer day.
The second day I tested them it was only 14°F or -10°C and I found that the bateries lasted even longer than what Seirus claims.
So all in all these are great quality batteries. If you're concerned about the amount of time they last you can always buy an extra set of batteries from the Seirus website which will then double the amount of time you get heat for.
Heattouch Xtreme All Weather Glove

The Seiru Xtreme All Weather glove is one of the more light weight and form fitting gloves that Seirus makes.
They don't have as much insulation as some of the other Seirus models but these ones will give you a great mix of warmth, dexterity and versatility.
Out of the Seirus lineup I would probably say that these ones are the best all-round winter gloves for daily use.
They aren't too bulky, they're waterproof and windproof, they're form fitting and flexible so they're highly comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
On top of all of those things, they're also touchscreen compatible which is a big deal for me.
They come in both Men's and Women's sizes but these ones only come in glove form not mitt form.
I really like these gloves and I think anybody would be happy with them but if you're looking for an extremely warm glove then you might want to lean towards one of their other models like the inferno or the Hellfire.
Heattouch Hyperlite All Weather Gloves

These Seirus Hyperlite All Weather Heattouch gloves are very low profile, even more low profile than the Xtreme All Weather gloves.
The main difference between these ones and the Xtreme gloves is that these ones are a little less waterproof and a little less windproof.
This makes them slightly less versatile but it also makes them a little more comfortable because there is simply less material involved.
I think these would be great winter driving gloves or walking gloves because of their overall comfort, low profile and great dexterity.
They are also touchscreen compatible.
These ones aren't available in the mitt but they do come in both Women's and Men's sizes.

As you probably figured by the name these gloves only come in Women's sizes but that doesn't mean they won't work for men too.
Women's gloves just use a different sizing chart and they generally fit smaller than men's but if you can find a pair that fits you there's no reason why these can't be for Men too.
That being said they have a little more flair to them when it comes to the look of them.
They used decorative stitching as you can see along the back of the hand. This gives them a few extra points on the fashion side of things.
Aside from image, these are great gloves.
They're waterproof, windproof, touchscreen compatible and they have a decent amount of insulation making them quite warm.
There's a medium sized gauntlet with a drawstring on the end so you can snug them around your jacket sleeve.
As for dexterity, they do pretty decent considering how warm they are. These are definitely warmer than both the Xtreme and the Hyperlite.
Heattouch Inferno Gloves

These gloves are fantastic. They're made out of full grain leather and the palm has a special Soundtouch leather that is compatible with touchscreens.
These gloves are slightly more expensive but it's easy to see why.
The fact that they're all leather is an awesome addition but that would explain why they're more money.
They have a wrist cinch so that you can tighten them exactly how you like them and don't have to worry about them ever falling off.
They also have a medium sized gauntlet that will fit over pretty much any jacket sleeve and it has a drawstring on the end of it to keep out any snow, air or moisture.
In addition to being waterproof, windproof and breathable these are also really comfortable gloves.
Of course they don't have quite the dexterity as the Glow, Xtreme or Hyperlite but that's just because these ones are much warmer.
These are a really great pair of gloves and they come in both Men's and Women's sizes.
Heattouch Ignite Mitt & Glove

These gloves and mitts are really not that different from the inferno gloves.
In fact I believe the only difference is the look of them and the gauntlet size. The Ignite has a slightly bigger gauntlet.
Other than that, ditto. Same price and everything. Great gloves so it all depends on what you like.
Heattouch Torche Gloves

These gloves are not all that different than the Ignite and the Inferno but there is one main difference that makes them a little warmer and a little more versatile.
That difference is the liner.
These gloves have a removable liner that will allow you to wear just the liner or just the shell depending on how the conditions change.

Aside from this they have all the little things that you'd want/need from a high end alpine ski glove.
They're waterproof, windproof, breathable, leather, touchscreen compatible, dexterous and comfortable.
These ones will be slightly warmer than the Ignite and Inferno gloves but not a great deal more.
They come in both Men's and Women's sizes but they don't come in a mitt.
Heattouch Hellfire Glove & Mitt

OK so I saved the best for last. These are the best heated ski gloves that Seirus makes and that's why they're so pricey.
I really really love these gloves. So much so that they made it onto my Top 10 Best Heated Gloves For 2018 list.
Every year I rate and rank the top 10 heated gloves and only the very best gloves make that list.
Even the 10th best gloves on that list are unbelievable gloves and these Hellfire gloves were a shoe in for that list.
The first thing they did was upgrade the battery. Yes it's slightly bigger than the other battery but it lasts twice as long.
That means that these gloves will give you up to 12 hour of heat on the low setting. That is unreal.
These gloves are the Cadillac of heated gloves because they really do have it all.
First of all they're the warmest of the Seirus lineup. And I mean warm as hell.
They might even be the warmest gloves I've ever tried and the Mitts are even warmer.
They're made with full grain premium leather with the touchscreen compatible fingers and thumb.
The dexterity is kind of limited but that's to be expected with a glove as warm as these.
It goes without saying but they are completely waterproof, windproof, breathable, cinchable and comfortable.
They even have a little waterproof zipper pocket for things like keys or credit cards.
I'm totally obsessed with these gloves and I think they're worth every penny.
Final Thoughts
So there you have it. That is my Seirus Heated Ski Gloves review and I really hope you found it helpful and useful.
As you can see, I'm a big fan of Seirus heated gloves and I wish I would have tried them earlier so that I could tell you all how great they are.

Robert,
It sounds likethe Hellfore by Seirus is a great glove. Iam wondering if you will be reviewing the heated gloves and mittons again for 2019, in January as you did for 2018.
Nils,
Thanks for the question. Yes I’ll definitely be writing a new top 10 heated gloves list for January 2019. I’ve been working on it for a while now so keep an eye out for it because there are some amazing new gloves.
Cheers,
Robert
Robert,
Did you find the sizing for the Serius Hellfire to be accurate to your sizing chart on this website? I have read one review that these gloves run big. My husband is a L in gloves but he is an XL in Hestra.
I would like to get him the Hellfire gloves and am not sure if I should be getting the XL or the L.
Thoughts? And thank you.
Tracey,
Yes they do run just a little bit big. If he normally wears a Large then I don’t think you should get him an XL. Your best bet would be to get the Large and if they aren’t right you can exchange them no problem.
Robert
Hi Can you tell me what you think of the Hellfire glove vs. mitten?
I usually prefer a mitten because it keeps my fingers warmer, but with the Hellfire it seems that this is taken care of already.
Is the dexterity better with the glove?
It’s a big investment for someone who skis once a year, but I have ranauds and my fingers kill while I ski.
Thank you for your help,
Lani
Lani,
The Hellfire glove is amazing and it is very warm but if you’re like me and your Raynaud’s can ruin your day then I would suggest going for the mitten. Yes you’ll lose a bit of the dexterity but it’s really not that bad. Also I think the minor loss in dexterity is well worth it because your hands will be extremely warm in the mitts and you won’t have a flare up.
Hope that helps.
Robert
Hi Robert,
What do you think of the Hestra power mitten? How does it compare to the Seirus Heat Touch Hellfire (especially because you seem to think they are the warmest and they seem to be your favorite)?
Thank you,
Emily
Emily,
Both the Hestra and the Hellfire are awesome gloves/mittens. The Hestra was my favorite for a long time but recently I’ve been using the Hellfire gloves a lot and I actually think they’re equally as good as the Hestra. This is a toss up but truly you can’t go wrong with either pair.
Cheers,
Robert
Hello. Did you notice your thumbs getting cold with the hellfire mittens? I used my new mittens today, fingers were very hot, but my thumbs got a little cold. Maybe my fingers were so warm it made my thumbs cold due to the heat difference?? Haha. Today was about 10 degrees. Let me know your thoughts.
TJ,
That’s unusual from my experience. I’ve used them in even colder temperatures and have’t had any issues with my thumbs getting cold. I do see some truth to your theory though about the rest of the fingers being so warm that maybe it makes the thumbs seem colder. Let me know how it goes.
Robert
Hi Robert,
Do all the gloves use the same batteries?
Ron
Snowflakes Robert Snowflakes
I am a skier. I need all my fingers and thumb to be kept warm. I also prefer my jacket sleeve over the glove……..low profile, easy on & off. Whatever happened to good ole at the wrist leather ski gloves? Not easy to find in the US. I have two questions:
1. Which ski glove would you recommend for me?
2. I have a mitt I like very much …… is it possible a thin heated liner would work inside the mitt and not be a hassle, which one?
Thx for all the research you have done. Helps loads when trying to sift through so much info.
Marguerite
Thanks for the comment. I responded to your other question on this page which should suffice. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Have you tested the same pairs of gloves recently? Of our two pairs of Hellfire gloves purchased two years ago, both needed replacement batteries, and now one glove of the pair is no longer working. With only a year warranty, that’s kind of a bummer…
