This heated mouse and keyboard is the perfect computer accessory.
So many people complain about having cold hands or feet at work or even in the home office but thanks to some really cool new gadgets that won’t be a problem anymore.
I’ve written a lot about heated gloves and a little bit about other heated clothing like insoles and slippers but this is the first heated accessory that I’ve reviewed that you don’t actually wear.
Offices can be a really cold place both literally and figuratively but unlike the latter, we can control the former.
Keeping yourself warm at work is really important as it plays a role in productivity and well being.
Some people are just chronically cold and keeping warm is an ongoing battle but there are people with actual health problems that cause cold hands.
Whether you have Reynaud’s or arthritis heated gloves can remedy the problem but you can’t operate a computer with gloves on.
That’s why this heated mouse and keyboard pad combo is so popular. It’s actually a great thing for anyone because the heat really does feel nice.
Mouse
The mouse is pretty basic and of course it’s not wireless because the cord is what powers it and generates the heat.
It has two settings so you can pump the heat up nice and high or just keep it on low.
I found that the high setting was great for getting started in the mornings but by the time 10 or 15 minutes had passed I turned it down to low because it was actually too hot.
The cord is 56″ long and it has the on/off and high/low setting switch built into it.
As you can see it has the right click and the left click as well as the scroll wheel which is 800 DPI.
Works for both right handed or left handed people.
Keyboard Pad
The heated keyboard pad has a removable carbon fiber heating element that provides infrared heat.
You simply place the pad just in front of your keyboard or laptop and plug it in. The heat will start right away but it takes about 10 minutes to fully warm up.
The pad doesn’t have settings like the mouse but it gets to a nice medium heat that’s very soothing on the wrist and hand. Not to mention the pad is soft on the hand and skin for a really comfortable feel.
The height of the pad is ergonomically designed to be at the perfect height for typing which is great because it makes for a more comfortable typing experience whether the heat is on or off.
I personally love this heat pad and I wouldn’t go without one after trying it. You will love it.
Final Thoughts
This combo is awesome. It’s made by ValueRays which is the same company that makes the heated slippers that I reviewed in another post.
Valuerays is a great company with a good reputation and they back it up with a one year warranty so you can be sure you’re buying a good quality product.
I love this product for myself since I’m a blogger I spend a lot of time at the computer and I even find myself turning it on in the summer because the heat just feels soothing and it’s good for circulation.
As much as I love it for myself I also really like this as a gift idea.
I know a lot of people who work long hours at a computer and they would really benefit from this. It’s small, inexpensive and something completely different that nobody would expect to get.
It makes the perfect Secret Santa gift for an office party.

Wait…I’ve never seen anything like this, this is really new tech and so cool. I wonder if this brand has marketed in Africa, I’ve not seen it around the shops. However, for people like me that sit directly opposite the AC I need this asap. It’s very hot right now so do I need to buy two keyboards or it can be switched back to normal temperature?
Great question. No you don’t need to buy two keyboards or two mouses. The keyboard pad is just a pad that sits right below the keyboard so you can just unplug it when you don’t want the heat and then plug it back in when you want the heat. You just keep using the same keyboard that you have right now. The great thing is that the keyboard pad is quite nice and it’s even great for comfort when the heat is off.
As for the mouse, it has a switch built right into it so you can choose to set it to high, low or off. So no need to have two.
Thanks for the question.
