I've tested and reviewed the Top 10 Best Battery Heated Insoles and here is the final list that I came up with. These are all great insoles so don't think into the rankings too much.
Quick Answer: 10 Best Battery Heated Insoles
As you can see, ThermaCELL kind of dominates the heated insoles industry these days and they have for a while.
While they are the clear leader for heated insoles there are plenty of other companies making them that are only getting better.
I think that by this time next year there will be a handful of other companies out there who could give ThermaCELL a run for their money for the #1 spot on this list.
With that being said there are some other great heated insole makers out there who are already making good products for far less money so that's always something to consider.
If you're on a budget you should be careful which ones you buy because there are some real crappy ones out there that simply won't last very long.
I've included some great budget options on this list so as long as you stick to the insoles on this list you will be happy with the product.
Let's Get To It!
#1. ThermaCELL Proflex Heavy Duty
If you simply want the best, most versatile and reliable heated insoles then you should get these ThermaCELL Proflex heavy duty insoles.
They aren't a lot different than the regular Proflex or the ThermaCELL Original but there are a few distinctions that set them apart.
One difference is that these ones are controlled via bluetooth using an app on your phone rather than a remote control which is what the other ThermaCELL insoles use.
This one also has an upgraded battery that will last longer and charge faster. The batteries in these should last up to 8.5 hours which is awesome.
Aside from that there are plenty of great features that these have.
To name a few; removable battery, 3 heat settings, wireless battery, works for any size up men's 13, 1 wall charger, 1 usb cable, durable and comfortable.
These are the insoles for the person who doesn't want to mess around and just wants the best.
#2. ThermaCELL Proflex
The only two differences between these insoles and the Proflex Heavy Duty is that these ones are controlled by a remote rather than Bluetooth and these ones don't have the upgraded battery.
Aside from that they are the same.
You should expect to get around 5 hours of heat with these ones which is still good compared to a lot of the insoles you'll see online.
I've tried plenty of heated insoles that only last one hour which is pretty bad.
These are a great option and a little bit cheaper than the Heavy Duty version so definitely a good choice.
#3. ThermaCELL Original
Again these ones aren't that different than the Proflex insoles but here are the differences that you should know about.
They don't come with a usb charger, only a wall charger.
These ones don't have a removable battery so when you charge them you have to take the entire insole out of your shoe and plug them in as a whole.
Other than that these ones are the same as the Proflex insoles. They're the same excellent quality and they heat up really nice.
#4. Hotronic FootWarmer S4 Custom
My favorite thing about these insoles is that the batteries can last up to 16 hours on the lowest setting which is higher than any other heated insoles that I've seen so far.
These ones don't have the built in battery so there will be a wire that comes up out of your boot and is attached to the battery.
Then you can just attach the battery to the top of your boot. It works quite well and it's barely noticeable. I'd say it's a small price to pay for such long heat times.
There are 4 heat settings on these ones. Well kind of. There are 3 regular heat settings and then a 4th setting that you can use which is a timed setting.
What that means is that it will turn on every once in a while to give you a blast of heat and then turn off.
This is a good idea for these because otherwise you have to lift your pants to change the heat setting manually on the battery pack.
These are great insoles and they definitely are high quality. You will be very satisfied with these I promise you that.
#5. Flambeau Hot Feet
These are another really nice pair of heated insoles with three heat settings controlled by a wireless remote.
I've reviewed the Flambeau heated gloves and they performed really well too I've come to expect high quality from them.
The battery should get up to 8 hours on the lowest setting and around 4 on the high setting which is more than acceptable for heated insoles.
The battery isn't removable so you have to take out the whole insole in order to charge them.
They come with a usb charger that you just plug into the insole and they should fully charge within a few hours.
They provide nice heat and the quality is good.
#6. Sharper Image
Sharper Image isn't a very well known company but they do make a decent product especially for the price.
These insoles have a built in battery that should last up to 7 hours on the lowest of the three settings.
They come with a charger that can work with both usb and regular wall plug.
They're trimable so you can cut them to fit whatever size you have.
They're controlled by a remote control.
All in all these are a good pair of insoles that should last quite a long time if treated right.
#7. Warmawear Wireless
These Warmawear heated insoles are one of the top selling pairs on Amazon and I'm not surprised because this brand has built a lot of trust over the years with their quality.
I first heard of Warmawear when I saw their heated gloves and reviewed them.
Their heated gloves were OK but nothing to write home about so I was pleasantly surprised to see that these insoles performed as well as they did.
The price is reasonable and the insoles heat up really nice and hot so you won't have cold toes even on the coldest days.
I think these insoles will make a lot of people happy.
#8. Therm-ic Sole Perform
These are really fantastic insoles and I would have ranked them higher on this list if it weren't for the fact that they don't come with a battery pack.
Therm-ic is a very high end company that makes heated gear. I reviewed their top heated gloves and those even made it on my Top 10 Heated Gloves List.
These insoles are as good of quality as the Proflex Heavy duty but when you factor in the cost of buying the battery separate these are just way too expensive.
But if money is no object to you, then you should buy these. Just make sure you don't forget to order the battery pack as well.
You can get the battery pack right here.
#9. Bial Cut-To-Fit Insoles
These insoles work really well and I put them on this list because they're really affordable and they provide some great heat.
One thing you should know before you buy these is that they don't use a rechargeable battery.
Instead these use AA batteries.
I'm not a big fan of this system but considering the price and the effectiveness of these insoles I think they cold be a good budget option.
#10 Torch Coat Heater
These Torch heated insoles are very comparable to the Sharper Image ones.
They have three heat settings controlled by a remote.
The battery isn't removable so you have to take them out of your shoes to charge them.
You can get up to 7 hours of heat on the lowest setting which is more than acceptable in my opinion.
One thing you can be sure of with these is that they are well built. The quality is there so these should last a long time if you treat them right.
So there you have it. Those are my top 10 picks for the best battery heated insoles.
You really should be careful if you're buying battery heated insoles online because there are a lot of really low quality insoles out there.
Since heated insoles started to gain popularity a few years ago a lot of manufacturers have been producing them cheaply in China and selling them for like $20 online.
Those will not last long and the heat they produce will barely be noticeable on your feet.
It's always better to pay a little bit more and get a good quality pair.
I can vouch for the insoles on this list. If you stick to these ones you won't have any problems with quality or customer service.
